Today’s conversation is with Taylor McNeillie - entrepreneur, property investor, and founder of Empire Glasgow.
In 2026, people see Taylor as the owner of one of Scotland’s best-known sneaker and streetwear businesses, a property investor with a debt-free portfolio worth over £700,000, and someone who became a millionaire in his twenties.
But it didn't start there.
In this conversation, Taylor shares his early experiences making money, what gave him the confidence to walk away from a secure aeronautical engineering apprenticeship, and the journey of building Empire Glasgow into the business it is today.
We discuss the major turning points that accelerated growth, the mistakes and setbacks that don't get shared online, and the realities of building a business in the UK's increasingly challenging economic environment.
Taylor also opens up about one of the biggest risks he ever took - holding a significant amount of Yeezy stock during the fallout from Kanye West's controversial comments, and how lessons learnt from that financial hit.
Alongside business, we dive into Taylor's growing property portfolio, his views on wealth creation, investing, tax, delegation, and what success looks like as his ambitions continue to evolve.
Expect to learn:
How Taylor first started making money as a teenagerWhy he left his aeronautical apprenticeship to pursue business full timeThe key turning points that helped Empire Glasgow growThe biggest mistakes and financial setbacks he's experiencedWhy Glasgow has become one of the UK's strongest reselling marketsThe challenges of hiring, delegating, and building a teamWhy Taylor believes the UK is becoming increasingly difficult for entrepreneursHis views on taxation and business growth in BritainHow he built a debt-free property portfolio worth more than £700,000The role property has played in his wealth-building strategyWhat success looks like over the next five yearsThis was a fascinating conversation about entrepreneurship, calculated risk, investing, wealth creation, and what it really takes to build financial freedom at a young age.

Today’s conversation is with Stephanie Mason - entrepreneur, founder of Global Brand Connect, host of the Cutting Through The Noise podcast, and the woman who built and exited Showpony after 14 years of growth.
In this conversation, Stephanie shares the journey of building Showpony from the ground up, the entrepreneurial influences that shaped her from a young age, and the lessons she learned scaling a brand into a business attractive enough to be acquired by Kevin Murphy in 2023.
But this conversation goes much deeper than business growth.
We explore what happens after achieving a major goal, including the emotional challenges many founders face when the thing they've spent years building is suddenly gone. We discuss identity, purpose, reinvention, and the phenomenon known as "Gold Medal Syndrome" - the emptiness some people experience after reaching the achievement they believed would finally make them feel fulfilled.
Stephanie also opens up about suffering a serious pelvis injury just days after exiting Showpony, why it felt like the universe was testing her, and how she navigated the transition into a completely new chapter of life and business.
Now, Stephanie helps brands scale intentionally through Global Brand Connect, supporting companies with distribution, logistics, strategy, and growth while continuing to build a life she loves in Mallorca.
Expect to learn:
The entrepreneurial lessons Stephanie learned growing upHow Showpony was built and scaled over 14 yearsThe key moments that proved the business could become something specialWhat it's really like selling a company you've built from scratchThe emotional challenges founders face after an exitHow Stephanie rebuilt her identity after leaving ShowponyThe lessons she's learned helping brands grow internationallyWhy relationships and the right support matter more than pretending to know everythingWhat younger Stephanie would think of the life she's created todayThis was a fascinating conversation about entrepreneurship, identity, purpose, growth, and learning that success is often about who you become along the way rather than the milestone itself.

Today’s conversation is with Scott Weir - entrepreneur, property investor, founder of Pillow Partners and Pillow Safe Havens, and a Krav Maga instructor.
But Scott’s story starts in a very different place.
He grew up in an incredibly difficult environment raised by a single alcoholic mother, often living without electricity, stealing food to survive, and surrounded by people heading down dangerous paths involving crime and drugs.
In this conversation, Scott shares how he escaped that environment by joining the Royal Navy at just 16 years old, saving his wages while at sea, and buying his first buy-to-let property at only 17.
We discuss the mindset required to break generational patterns, the importance of environment, and how Scott navigated seeing childhood friends fall into crime and heroin while he pursued a completely different path.
Scott also opens up about being diagnosed with dyslexia later in life, how that completely changed the way he viewed himself intellectually, and why he now sees his neurodivergent brain as both a superpower and something that nearly destroyed his business twice.
We also dive into martial arts, Krav Maga, business growth, building Pillow Partners over the last 20 years, adapting a company to survive modern economic pressures, and his outspoken views on UK politics, property ownership, and the future of entrepreneurship in Britain.
Expect to learn:
How Scott’s childhood shaped his early outlook but did not define his futureHow he avoided the dangerous paths many around him fell intoWhy he joined the Royal Navy at 16How he bought his first property at 17The impact being diagnosed with dyslexia had on his confidence and identityWhy neurodivergence can be both a gift and a challenge in businessHow Scott built Pillow Partners into a major property management companyThe lessons martial arts and Krav Maga taught him about discipline and leadershipHow he’s transformed the business to make it “bulletproof”Our concerns about UK politics and the future of property investingWhat success looks like for him approaching 50This was a powerful conversation about resilience, escaping your environment, reinvention, entrepreneurship, and creating a completely different life from the one you were born into.

Adam is an Irish entrepreneur, founder of PWRD Media, and more recently PWRD University.
Adam first appeared on the podcast back on episode 226, where we unpacked his journey from an under-skilled and unfulfilled 20-year-old into building a multi-million-pound business in Dubai.
A lot has changed since then.
Since our last conversation, Adam has moved from Dubai to Marbella, launched PWRD University, sold 40% of his agency, and gone deeper into the personal side of growth alongside the business success.
This was a thoughtful and reflective conversation on growth, identity, purpose, business, and building a life that actually feels good while achieving success.

Today’s conversation is with Lee Mair.
Lee spent over a decade in professional football, playing more than 300 games across Scottish football with clubs including Dundee, Aberdeen, and St Mirren - where he was part of the side that lifted the Scottish League Cup in 2013.
But this conversation isn’t just about football.
Since retiring from the game, Lee has gone through the difficult transition many professional athletes face: figuring out identity, direction, purpose, and what comes next after sport.
After trying multiple career paths including coaching, personal training, and IT sales, Lee eventually found his footing in finance before launching Mair Finance in 2023 - a business that has rapidly grown and now works with companies turning over hundreds of millions of pounds.
We unpack the realities of leaving professional sport, the emotional and practical challenges of starting over, the transferable skills elite athletes carry into business, and why relationships and networking have been the foundation of Lee’s growth.
Expect to learn:
What Lee’s ambitions were as a young professional at DundeeHis fondest football memories, including winning the League Cup with St MirrenThe teammates and managers who shaped him mostWhat elite sport teaches you about discipline and resilienceWhy the transition out of football can be so difficultHow lost many athletes feel after retirementLee’s route through coaching, PT, Herbalife, and IT sales before financeWhy he launched Mair FinanceHow networking and relationships helped grow the businessThe types of clients Mair Finance now works withThe biggest challenges of building and delegating within a growing businessWhat Lee would tell young footballers preparing for life after sportThis was a really honest conversation about identity, reinvention, business growth, and adapting when the thing you’ve known your whole life suddenly ends.

Andy is the founder of Tritanum Coaching and has spent over 20 years coaching athletes at every level - from everyday individuals taking on their first endurance event to elite performers in boxing and endurance sport.
He’s also completed 20 Ironman races himself, giving him a rare blend of lived experience and coaching expertise.
In this episode, we explore the growing shift from strength training to endurance challenges, the systems required to perform at a high level, and how nutrition, hydration, and behaviour underpin both physical and cognitive performance.
Expect to learn:

Today’s conversation is with Perry Wilson, of Stupid is the Norm and The League.
Perry first came on the show sharing how, in his 50s, he went from minimum wage, debt, and no savings to building a property portfolio and becoming financially independent - documenting the journey publicly.
Since then, everything has changed.
A series of major life events forced Perry to rethink everything he believed about money, success, and the purpose of life itself. From business disruption and financial pressure to personal challenges at home, this episode explores what happens when the plan you thought would secure your future no longer holds.
We talk about the shift from chasing wealth to prioritising security, why traditional ideas of success can leave people more vulnerable, and how Perry is rebuilding with a completely different perspective.
Expect to learn:

This episode was originally recorded on The Kirk Miller Podcast.
I enjoyed this discussion so much, I figured I'd put it on CamBro Conversations too.
This is a practical conversation on what it really takes to build a high-performing sales function in today's business environment.
From mindset and identity to modern outreach and personal brand, this episode breaks down the systems, behaviours, and principles that help founders and leaders generate consistent revenue without relying on luck, motivation, or outdated tactics.
I shares my journey into sales, the lessons he's learned working with business owners and teams, and why the future of sales is human, structured, and driven by conviction.
Expect to learn:
Why sales is a critical skill for every founder and business ownerThe mindset and identity required to perform consistently in salesWhy mass, impersonal outreach no longer worksHow to use personalised, multi-channel outreach to stand outThe role of AI in sales and why transparency mattersHow to build a consistent pipeline and avoid revenue plateausWhy rejection is part of the process, not a problemThe importance of personal brand in building trust before the saleHow health, energy, and environment impact sales performanceKirk’s show - https://podcasts.apple.com/be/podcast/the-kirk-miller-podcast/id1624973158

Today’s conversation is with Kirk Miller.
Kirk is a Men’s Health Cover Model winner, coach, and emotional wellbeing expert.
From being released as a youth footballer at Coventry, to working in gas engineering, to stepping onto the front cover of Men’s Health. Kirk’s journey is one of reinvention, discipline, and deep internal work.
But what makes this conversation different is we go deeper into what it really takes to be in incredible physical shape for your entire life.
Kirk explains looking in shape and actually being in control of your life are two very different things.
From his experience personally and years of coaching, we explore why so many high performers still struggle with self-worth, why 12-week transformations fail, and the real foundations required to stay in shape for life.
Expect to learn:
Why you are the average of what you do consistently not occasionallyThe real reason most people fall off after 12-week fitness plansWhy physical confidence without emotional confidence will eventually breakThe three components of true emotional confidenceHow your emotions directly influence your physique and behavioursWhy high achievers often neglect the foundations that keep them stableThe dangers of overtraining and chasing aesthetics without awarenessWhy resilience, courage and discipline matter more than motivationHow to build a body — and mindset — that lasts decades, not monthsGet 20 lessons from 330 CamBro Conversations - https://colcambro.kit.com/60ed1b527b

Loui returns to CamBro Conversations for a second time.
A serial entrepreneur and founder of Long Lane, Loui has built multiple businesses and continues to think deeply about what it actually takes to thrive in business and life.
This episode goes beyond tactics. It goes deep into what it takes to live an aligned life while succeeding in business.
We talk about the realities of entrepreneurship, why intelligence isn’t always the deciding factor, and the level of audacity required to even step into the arena.
We also explore how business is evolving in a world dominated by AI and screen time — and why human connection is becoming more valuable, not less.
Expect to learn:
Why the most successful entrepreneurs aren’t always the most “intelligent”The role of audacity in starting and sustaining a businessWhat “awareness” means in business and life — and why it mattersA further deep dive into Non duality after the popular episode with Rob BeggWhy entrepreneurship statistically doesn’t work and why people still pursue itLoui’s perspective on the UK’s economic direction and dependency cultureThe origin and vision behind Long LaneGet 20 lessons from 330 CamBro Conversations - https://colcambro.kit.com/60ed1b527b

Today’s conversation is with Mike Samuels, the Coffee Shop Copywriter.
Mike returns to CamBro Conversations for a third time.
Many listeners will know Mike as a copywriter responsible for over $170M in sales and someone who has maintained a six-figure business working on his laptop for over a decade.
But this episode goes back even further to help you understand how to build your own online business.
We revisit August 2013 when Mike launched his very first digital product after being controversially fired from a content writing role at Livestrong.
We talk about starting from scratch, dealing with setbacks, the reality of launching a first business, and how Mike thinks about sales, marketing and freedom of speech today.
We also get into the psychology of business — why small wins can sometimes feel more exciting than big ones, and what happens when you choose connection over constant productivity.

Today, the guest is me and it’s time for a solo Q&A where I answer the Questions sent in by the listeners over Instagram, on my new Patreon and on my email list.
It’s a big milestone with 350 episodes now released.
I answer 21 questions on conviction, social media fear, giving up alcohol, investing, integrity, political commentary, Dubai, public speaking, and scaling sales.
This one blends mindset, money, performance, sport and a few controversial takes too.
Expect to learn:
• Why conviction comes after action, not before it
• How to reduce overwhelm
• The reframe that helped me overcome fear of posting online.
• The real trade-offs of giving up alcohol in business and social settings.
• How to handle uncertainty and anxiety when you don’t feel clear on your direction.
• My short, mid and long-term investment strategy (financial and health).
• How I built confidence in public speaking.
• Whether political commentary has cost me business.
• The fastest way to scale sales in a new company.
• What integrity actually means beyond compliments
350 episodes in, the biggest lesson is simple:
Confidence compounds.
Skills compound.
Health compounds.
Reputation compounds.
And the sooner you take ownership of those, the sooner life starts bending in your favour.

Today’s conversation is with Nathaniel Collins.
Nathaniel is an unbeaten Scottish Pro Boxer known as The Nightmare.
Nathaniel returns to the show after so much happening in his career since our last episode in 2022 from being hospitalised with a twisted bowel following his York Hall victory, to a controversial European title draw, to becoming a father.
This episode is about resilience, perspective, and what elite performance really looks like
Expect to learn:
• What really happened after the York Hall fight and whether he thought he’d box again
• What his surgeon told him about returning to competition
• His honest take on the controversial draw against Cristobal Lorente
• Why the Lee McGregor fight was a defining moment
• Whether the European title remains the focus
• What “mastery is mundane” looks like in training
• The biggest misconception about confidence in boxing
• How fatherhood has changed his mindset
• What success looks like by 2030
We revisit the hospital scare and the mental reset required to come back stronger.
Unpack the European title draw and the psychology of handling results that don’t go your way.
Nathaniel explains why elite boxing isn’t built on hype or emotion, but on repetition, discipline, and consistency.
We also talk about becoming a father, life outside the UK, and how his definition of success has evolved beyond belts and rankings.

Today, the guest is me and it’s time for a solo episode.
In this solo special, I break down nine habit shifts that have quietly but profoundly improved how I think, train, work, sell, and lead.
None of these alone are revolutionary but stacked together, they compound into clarity, momentum, and long-term performance.
Expect to learn:
Why vague endings quietly kill momentum in business, sales, and leadership. How to end every conversation with clarity, ownership, and forward motion. Why discomfort is data — and how to stop masking feelings with distraction. The difference between training hard and training effectively. How time-boxing your diary creates presence, focus, and a real competitive edge. What emotional control actually looks like in sales, relationships, and decision-making.Why sleep is preparation for performance, not recovery from life. The importance of tracking inputs instead of obsessing over outcomes. Why real confidence and motivation only come after action. How doing the small habits others avoid compounds into long-term advantage.Get my LinkedIn Guide - https://click.convertkit-mail2.com/qdux4r4dq8u7h4dxgxvalh89p0rkkb4h86ng9/08hwh9h22xp4z6tl/aHR0cHM6Ly9jb2xjYW1icm8ua2l0LmNvbS9wcm9kdWN0cy9saW5rZWQtaW4tcGVyc29uYWwtYnJhbmQtZm9yLXNlbGxpbmc=

Today’s conversation is with Charlie Johnson.
Charlie is a fitness entrepreneur, business coach and founder of a global coaching brand with hundreds of thousands of followers across social media helping men get jacked and coaches build successful businesses. He’s transitioned from a personal trainer in the UK to building a multimillion-dollar fitness empire, scaling coaching clients internationally, and now focuses on helping fitness professionals and entrepreneurs grow their businesses to consistent 10s and 100s of thousands per month and beyond.
In this episode, we go deep into the strategies, mistakes, mindset shifts and systems that have allowed Charlie to scale both his own performance and his business. We explore why investing heavily in mentorship transformed his thinking, how he uses AI and paid ads to scale, and the biggest misunderstandings fitness coaches (and business owners generally) make that hold them back. We also talk fatherhood, legacy and what success looks like as he plans forward to 2030.
