Greg Fitzsimmons sits down with the always hilarious Ron Funches for a wide-ranging conversation that goes from reality TV chaos to stand-up philosophy, and everything in between.
Ron breaks down his experience on The Traitors, what it taught him about himself, and how it ultimately led to a life-changing autism diagnosis. The two dig into the ups and downs of the comedy industry, including the frustrating reality of streaming deals, social media influence, and why great comics still struggle to get specials made.
They also get into:
The unpredictability of making money in comedy
The difference between bombing and being delusional
Why some comics thrive and others never improve
The weird reality of voice acting careers
Hair transplants, Turkey trips, and leveling up your look
Plus, Greg shares stories from Disneyland, Waymos, and the dangers of trusting a comedian’s green room.
A funny, honest, and surprisingly insightful episode about comedy, identity, and figuring out who you are.

Greg is fresh out of therapy and questioning gratitude, happiness, and why having everything still isn’t enough. Then Jeremiah Watkins joins the show and things immediately go off the rails.
They get into comedy club horror stories, bad breath interventions, the chaos of opening acts, and the strange psychology of stand-up. Jeremiah talks about performing with legends, turning down distribution for his new special Crazy Pizza, and why betting on yourself might be the only move that matters.
There’s also talk of Disneyland taking over people’s personalities, the weird divide in comedy audiences, and what happens when a show completely loses control before the headliner even hits the stage.
Plus: Fast Balls with Fitz, including virginity stories, career regrets, and what award Jeremiah actually wants to win.

Greg gets surprisingly emotional reflecting on his birthday, crying at speeches, golf, and the strange vulnerability that comes with aging, before welcoming comedy legend David Feldman for a wildly unfiltered conversation. The two dive into stand-up war stories, including on-stage fights, bombing after sold-out arenas, and the evolution of comedy from Boston and San Francisco to today. They riff on everything from Andrew Dice Clay and Anthony Jeselnik to conspiracy theories, podcasting, and the brutal honesty of chasing laughs for a living. It’s equal parts heartfelt, chaotic, and completely unhinged.

Greg Fitzsimmons sits down with longtime friend and comedy powerhouse Neil Brennan (co-creator of Chappelle’s Show and host of Blocks). What starts as a conversation about stand-up quickly turns into a deeper discussion about purpose, aging, and the strange psychology of comedy.
They talk about life on the road, jealousy in the business, why success never feels the way you think it will, and what happens when the things that used to drive you stop working. Greg opens up about starting therapy again as he approaches 60, while Neil questions the entire idea of ambition and meaning in comedy.
Along the way they get into family, mortality, the loneliness of stand-up, and one moment Greg had performing for his son that still haunts him.A funny, thoughtful, and surprisingly vulnerable conversation between two comics who have been doing this long enough to start asking what it’s all really for.

Greg sits down with Ali Siddiq for a sharp, wide-ranging conversation that blends comedy craft, fatherhood, prison politics, and mental health. Ali opens up about performing through a broken toe, battling panic attacks on the road, raising nine kids with wildly different personalities, and why he continues to independently release massively successful specials after repeated industry rejection. It’s funny, raw, opinionated, and full of the kind of honest storytelling that makes Ali one of the most compelling voices in stand-up today.

One of the quickest minds in the biz Ian Bagg joins me. We laugh. Oh we laugh.
We have a wide-ranging conversation about comedy, career longevity, and the realities of grinding it out in clubs before viral success. The two dig into comedy history and influences including Mel Brooks, Richard Pryor, Gene Wilder, Jonathan Winters, and the evolution of stand-up, while sharing brutal road stories, bombing at private gigs, and behind-the-scenes roast chaos. This episode blends sharp comedy, insider Hollywood stories, and unfiltered stand-up talk, making it a must-listen for fans of comedy podcasts, stand-up comedy, and Greg Fitzsimmons’ FITZDOG Radio.
