Taylor Parker murdered 21âyearâold Reagan SimmonsâHancock on October 9, 2020, in Reaganâs New Boston, Texas home while Reagan was 36 weeks pregnant. Parker had spent nearly a YEAR faking her own pregnancy, and when her supposed due date passed, she became desperate to maintain the lie. Parker attacked Reagan, then performed a crude, unauthorized Câsection to remove Reaganâs unborn daughter, Braxlynn Sage. Parker fled with the baby and falsely claimed she had given birth on the side of the road. Doctors quickly determined she had not given birth, and investigators connected her to the murder scene, where Reaganâs body was found. Parker was arrested that same day and ultimately convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death in 2022. Click here to join our Patreon. Click here to get your own Inhuman merch. The Brown’s Chicken massacre is remembered not just as a crime, but as a heartbreaking moment when seven ordinary people living ordinary lives never came home. On January8, 1993, two men walked into a small fastâfood restaurant in Palatine, Illinois, and shattered an entire community. By morning, families who had been waiting by the window, calling phones that would never ring, learned that their parents, children, and friends had been taken from them in an act of senseless violence. What lingers today is not the brutality, but the love those families carried forward—the way they kept telling stories, lighting candles, and saying their names so the world would remember who was lost, not just how they were taken.

In 1996, a man was identified in several attacks that had taken place in the same area. Finally, in 2018, that man was connected to the historic attacks as well, and the Beast of Blenheim was finally identified as Stewart Murray Wilson.

James Bulger was just two years old when he was abducted from a mall in Merseyside, England in February 1993. Two ten year old boys kidnapped, tortured, and murdered James and then became the youngest convicted murderers in modern British history. Jon Venables and Robert Thompson were true monsters, but only spent 8 years in prison. They were then given new identities.
James Bulger’s family wants him to be remembered for the beautiful young boy he was, not a murdered toddler. His mother started the James Bulger Memorial Trust (see more here) and James’ Legacy Line to help families impacted by crime (0300 324 1603).

In 2021, advances in forensic genealogy finally led to a major breakthrough in this case, but that doesn't mean the case is closed, there's still work to be done!
If you have any information about Gordon Sanderson’s movements around the time of his death in the spring of 1977, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Alberta RCMP at 780â412â5424. No tip is too small.

In the early morning hours of December 1, 1991, 46âyearâold Jane Duston of Branson, Missouri, took the lives of most of her family and then her own. While we cannot fully know what she experienced or the depth of her suffering, these factors are believed to have played a role in that tragic night.
As we close out Mental Health Awareness Month, this painful story is a solemn reminder that we often cannot see the struggles people carry inside. Serious illness, treatment, and mental health conditions can quietly and powerfully alter a person’s thoughts and behaviors, even in those who once seemed steady and strong. Out of that awareness, we can choose compassion: to listen without judgment, to check in with those who may be isolated, and to encourage—gently and persistently—access to care and support. Small acts of kindness and vigilance can matter deeply to someone who feels alone.

In 1978, the FBI’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System did not exist. Detectives investigating Carroll Bonnet’s October 1978 murder in Omaha, Nebraska collected several latent prints from the crime scene. The prints didn’t have a match at the time, but in 2009, after IAFIS was developed, the prints were reexamined… and this time, it led to Carroll’s killer.
