Hlaðvarpið Góðan daginn Grindvíkingur er hlaðvarp Grindvíkinga á vegum Grindavíkurbæjar. Ætlunin er að taka viðtöl við einstaklinga sem hafa frá áhugaverðum og fróðlegum hlutum að segja – hvort sem um ræðir sögur frá liðnum áratugum, verkefni dagsins í dag eða hugmyndir um framtíð Grindavíkur. Markmiðið er að hlaðvarpið verði vettvangur þar sem Grindvíkingar, hvar sem við erum, getum haldið tengslum og deilt reynslu okkar.

The Prisoners of Hope Podcast tells the stories of Christians affected by persecution—people who are, as the prophet Zechariah once wrote, “Prisoners of Hope.”
We’ll share how Christianity is anything but a coping mechanism for the faint of heart. We’ll learn about people who put their lives on the line for the sake of the Gospel.
We’ll discover the Holy Spirit working in the world in ways that seem ripped straight from the Bible.
We hope that your faith is solidified through these stories of redemption, suffering, and a good and faithful God who will stop at nothing to expand his kingdom across the world—and in your heart, too. Together, we’ll discover how God is transforming all Christians into Prisoners of Hope. -
This show is for caretakers, parents, spouses, siblings and friends of those struggling with an eating disorder. You aren’t alone in feeling overwhelmed and insufficient toward getting your loved ones the help they need with their eating disorder. We know what it’s like to desperately want to help them when everything you do seems to push them further away.
This show is also for those struggling with an eating disorder. Your feelings of hopelessness as you slip further into isolation, disappointed with your own reflection in the mirror, are safe here.
We offer you hope and encouragement as we work to grow a community of in-recovery survivors who share your pain, understand your fears, and who truly understand.
I’m your host, Deena Lewis, and my husband, Brian Lewis, will join me for most episodes. We are a married couple who bring over 20 years of personal eating disorder recovery experience to you each week and hope to help, inspire, and support those struggling with an eating disorder and their loved ones.
On this show, you’ll walk alongside us through the ups and downs of my own anorexia recovery journey with you. We aim to provide reliable resources and encourage you during your darkest days.
You are worth it. You are not alone.
On this show, you can look forward to:
- Decipher the emotional depth of eating disorders and how they touch the lives of sufferers and loved ones.

In Season 1, it’s 1995 and Carole Fisher is a high-flying divorcee looking for love in Las Vegas. It’s slim pickings in the medical community she works in. But then Bob comes to town. Bob Bierenbaum is a plastic surgeon who flies planes and speaks several languages. Her mom loves that he’s Jewish - but there’s something off about him. He’s perfect on paper but he’s quick to anger and he never talks about his ex-wife. Who, it turns out, is missing and presumed dead. After Carole and Bob break up, she tells her friend Mindy all about Bob’s wife and his bizarre behavior. You see, Mindy dated Bob too, in fact a lot of women in Vegas dated Bob and they all have their own strange stories to tell. Before too long they form a club dedicated to bitching about Bob, eating noodles and figuring out what happened to his wife, Gail. In this riveting nine part series, Carole Fisher uncovers the truth of Gail Katz’s death, the systems that failed her and all the girlfriends that brought her justice.
In Season 2, The Girlfriends are back to investigate one part of the story that’s still a mystery. During the investigation into Gail’s case, a torso washed up on Staten Island and was misidentified as Gail. Nobody knows her name or what happened to her after she was ruled out from the case. The amateur lady's detective club have a new mission: to uncover the identity of this woman and finally find Our Lost Sister. The Girlfriends is produced by Novel for iHeartPodcasts.
