The podcast for body positivity, fat activism and loving the skin you're in.
Every week, I, along with some of loudest and most inspirational Australian BoPo influencers and fat activists will confront what it’s like to be fat, body diverse and LGBTIQ+ in Australia head on. We are talking Fat activism, Feminism, Mental Health and so much more.
Im not going to lie, the road to body positivity isn’t an easy one. Some of the podcasts will make you laugh, some will make you ugly cry in the shower and some will make you want to curl up in your pillow fort with a tub of ice cream and that’s ok. We’re your new best friends and we will get through this together.
The podcast is called The Fat Collective for two reasons, the first being that I am sick of the negative connotations around the word fat. I want to reclaim it and take away it's power. I believe that if we start using the word freely and openly then it could help to change the way we speak to each other and give bullies less of a voice. And collective because we are stronger together. The Fat Collective isn't about me, it's not about you, it's about us and the power that we have to change things and suport each other when we put out minds to it.
Australia is on the verge of a body positive revolution!

What’s the relationship between nature and the brain? Join me, Sarah Allely, as I discover how nature helped me recover from a brain injury.
When a mild traumatic brain injury left me unable to read, write or watch TV, I discovered my path to recovery was through nature.
This podcast follows my journey of recovery, and my quest to find out why. What’s the science behind my experience? Many academics acknowledge nature’s health benefits, and scientists are yet to pinpoint exactly what it is that heals. This series returns to the forests and coastlines to immerse you in the sounds of nature that improved my focus and concentration, relieved my headaches and lifted my depression and anxiety.
