While visiting Mr. Whittaker at Whitâs Soda Shoppe, Beth and Patrick find a mysterious letter in the Imagination Station requesting a Viking sunstone. The letter is old and says that someone named Albert will be imprisoned if the sunstone isnât found.

Whitney Lane Ward is a public speaker and writer who encourages audiences to overcome their circumstances. As someone with a disability, it is her wish to give hope to others with illnesses so they will scale the mountains they face.
The authorâs disease began when she was a little girl, so Whitney knows first-hand the emotions and feelings children experience and the frightening unknowns they face. In this book, Whitney encourages every child whoâs battling a disease to see themselves how God sees them and shout the powerful message to the worldâ âI am MORE!â
She was the first person in the world to be diagnosed with the disease she has. She also had the honor of naming it!
The name I chose was MAGIS Syndrome. MAGIS means âmore,â in Latin and I want anyone who is diagnosed with this disease to know that they are MORE!

Taryn never planned to be a writerâ she was a middle school math teacher for a couple of years. But, being a voracious reader as a kid gave her a love for words (and working with middle-schoolers gave her a sense of humor).
It seemed like a good idea to combine the two (words and humor) and voila, her first book was born. Truthfully, the first book was a fluke. She sat down to write a poem about Moses and ended up writing a fraction book about a cow. Who knew?
It worked so well the first time, she has continued to try writing poetry and has ended up with a book each time! Ok. Not really. But, she does enjoy the writing process so much, that she kept with it and has enjoyed some success along the way.

Mark David Pullen is the author of middle grade series The Oasis Chronicles. His debut novel, The Oasis King, was released this year and his second book Freedom Through the Narrow Gate will release in September. Being the boy who sought after adventure and escape, he would use his imagination to create strange characters and unique far-away worlds.
